Everyone keeps asking why the global Left pays no attention to the people of Iran.
Why Iranian demands, pain, and aspirations mean nothing to the global Left.
This argument works well if your goal is to morally shame the Left.
But don’t forget this: if you ever do something that makes the global Left happy, excited, or supportive of you, then it’s not just that you made a mistake , your entire project is wrong.
In fact, if the global Left supports you at all, stop right there.
Freeze.
Turn around and walk back the entire path you’ve been on since childhood.
Start over from scratch , from the lab , and make damn sure you don’t take the same path again.
This “nation” has no need for the support of the global Left.
Right now, it is itself a model , even a guiding light , for the world’s Right.
And it will be so even more in the future.
