With Travis Etienne off to the #Saints, it’ll be the first time since 2018 that he and Trevor Lawrence aren’t teammates. Just this year Trevor was telling us being in the family room postgame, both with their babies, shows how they’ve really grown up together. (And as part of a crew that’s done a lot of #Jaguars games… it’ll be weird not to see them out there together.)

Steelers fans, in addition to a consistently productive WR who can run the entire route tree, you’re also getting a tremendous leader and tone-setter in Michael Pittman. Two years ago, he spent nearly six figures on equipment and three days a week -every week- outside #Colts HQ just to make himself available to play. Told me then “my teammates deserve my best even when I’m not at my best

Next question for the #Browns: Does Jim Schwartz agree to stay in Cleveland as the DC? The org very much wanted him to, but my understanding is he never committed to do so if he wasn’t chosen HC. Todd Monken offered a clear offensive plan and that ultimately won out, I’m told.

@akinkhabwala Can also say this: in my experience with him, Todd Monken is very straightforward. He doesn’t sugar coat, he’s not afraid of players (including superstars) and he can be acerbic. Don’t expect any handholding or coddling, #Browns fans.

When John Harbaugh hired Todd Monken as his OC, he very specifically told our @NFLonCBS crew a huge part of the appeal was that Monken is not a system guy. He’s someone who could adapt and fit and create offense to match players, as opposed to being slave to one structure #Browns
