Gold reserves worth a staggering $636 billion have reportedly been discovered in the soil of Tarbela Dam, according to Hanif Gohar, Chairman of Air Karachi. He revealed that soil samples collected by divers were tested in labs, confirming traces of gold — an amount he claims could wipe out Pakistan’s national debt.
Gohar shared that the findings have been presented to the Chief of Army Staff, who responded positively. He added that if WAPDA doesn’t take up the project, his company is ready to invest, extract the gold, and hand it over to the nation.
He also announced that Air Karachi will launch domestic flights on March 23, with plans to expand internationally after a year, and revealed plans to build Hyderabad’s first four-star hotel.
