The airline would place numerous additional orders, becoming the largest customer for the type and staying loyal to Boeing throughout the Boeing 737 MAX crashes and groundings. The airline currently operates 302 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, and has firm orders and options for an additional 615 MAX aircraft.
