not sure i noticed any particular smell 😂

but the taste was nice - not too sweet and pleasantly tart from the rhubarb!

keep in mind, i'm merely the unsophisticated bystander benefitting from such choices by my foodie wife!

it was a bit difficult to eat because the pastry glue on the tray was so strong, the beautiful flower cream got immediately destroyed 😭

but quite good, really liked the tart taste of the rhubarb without being too sweet!

say more? for a pleb like me, it kinda all looks the same! although i have to admit that whole 'deconstructed` trend in general was conceptually kind of interesting when i'm not paying for it 😂

I occasionally end up watching cooking shows (as an innocent bystander when my wife watches them) and I’m always amazed how pastry making is a whole other technical level above even the most refined cooking
