Introducing Higher Steaks ๐ฅฉ
HS fills the gap between attention and belief. While most apps jostle for short-term attention, I believe that higher callings are long-term. There has been a lack of long-term belief since there is no incentive for anything beyond the short-term. Why build anything serious if people are going to forget tomorrow?
HS introduces a new socio-financial primitive -- the staked cast. Builders cast their dreams and aspirations into /higher and stake $higher on their belief over weeks, months, or even years. Supporters can come alongside and stake more $higher as a belief signal for these builders. With this, $higher signals proof-of-belief in the network.
What is the higher network but a network of believers? Anyone who aims directionally upward is invited to join. If you look to better yourself (in a skill, a job, a career, in life), you will fit right in. HS becomes a directory for believers, showcasing what different people in the network are working on, and surfacing who is supporting them in their journey.
HS is currently in closed beta while we onboard builders in the network. If you are embarking on your higher journey, let me know! https://higher-steaks.vercel.app/
