Today, proposals on Optimism are voted onchain, but executed manually by the @optimism Foundation.
If approved, this update will allow treasury transfers to happen automatically, bringing more transparency and decentralization to the ecosystem.
Note that protocol upgrades and governance changes will still be executed by the Foundation for now.
