This doesn't make sense. I'm never going to change the delete window if changing it deletes all existing messages /warpcast

no no sorry. in direct messages the messages disappear after 30 days by default. changing this deletion window causes the existing messages in that chat to disappear (I think, I haven't tested it I don't want to lose my messages). Even switching from 30 days to 1 year causes the messages to disappear
