Most of us assume that the durability of a relationship is the result of a good choice But it is certain that no choice alone guarantees satisfaction and stability. What keeps a relationship alive is the ability of two people to continuously repair In the face of disappointments, in coming to terms with the unpleasant parts of themselves and others. Love is a never-ending project; not a final choice.
