The first time I saw a penis was when Chidioke presented it to me when we were in primary 2. It was a normal Chidioke thing to do, he was weird, at least that was what everyone said but I didn't think he was. He was just too open, too literal, than this world is used to.
About the penis business? It started with an argument he and the “boys” were having. They said “you can never be friends with a girl if she sees your penis” and he told them it was a lie. To prove them wrong he came to my corner of the classroom and dragged me to the toilet.

I was a tomboy growing up (still am in some ways).
I love everything from dressing like a man to walking like one. When I was in my late teens, I asked myself "would you love to be a man if it were possible?"
My immediate answer was no. No hesitation at all. I realized I love being a woman, I love that I can choose to do anything with my feminine energy and still choose to look masculine in a way.
Being a woman is powerful, I'm grateful I get to wield and be that power in my own way.

I've been thinking in my head (again, because of this book I'm reading) that DNA is a funny thing. Not the science part of, God knows I don't know nothing about that even though I was a science student.
But, I've been thinking about how we are the combination of two people's DNA—our parents. That there's something about each parent that is in you.
Then that takes me further into thinking that, the parents surely carried something of their parents too, which means it's not only just your parents DNA that is in you but your grandparents and your great grandparents, down to your ancestors and maybe farther down to the first mankind on earth.
Isn't it interesting that somehow, we are all connected in a way. We are like a dot that connects a circle.
