Hi there 👋.Semi-nob I've mostly been playing catch-up with the ecosystem since late last year 😅. First there was zkpolygon, zkevm, then zkSync, zkfair .... Argh so many zks. I'd really like to know more about it and what the point to a zk is cos b4 them layer2's like polygon were working just fine were they not?

Because the compiler is smart enough to infer the returned reference lifetime... Because there is only one borrowed reference as a parameter
