“The One That Got Away”
You know what still hurts till today?
Back in 2019, before I even understood what Web3 was, a friend told me to buy some coins.
So I did.
I bought ₦20,000 worth of BNB, ₦12,000 of Dogecoin, and ₦15,000 of Tron.
I didn’t know what I was doing I just wanted to be part of “this crypto thing.”
Like every good newbie, I wrote my seed phrase down neatly in my treasured diary the one that had all my secrets and random teenage notes.
I thought I was being careful.
Fast-forward to 2021, I travelled.
By the time I came back, that diary was gone a friend had taken it along with a part of my financial future.
Then, I saw BNB pump.
Let’s just say... I didn’t sleep that night.
