We are three siblings raised under the same conditions: same parents, same house, same education, same food. Yet today we have different means of production, unequal incomes, and different standards of living. One is poorer, another richer. This reality shows that inequality does not always stem from a lack of opportunities, but also from decisions, skills, risks taken, and ways of relating to the environment. In a market system, those who serve better—with greater efficiency, creativity, or added value—usually receive more. It may seem harsh, but it is a logic inherent to human nature and the rules that govern the current economy.
