I'm observing Proton Drive desktop app not syncing changes again on macOS. (Ticket #3750568)

Has anyone observed and fixed @ProtonDrive stopping to sync for the past 23 hours? (Ticket #2955858)

I noticed this after changing my Proton account password.

Proton support recommends signing out and back in. I'll give it a test although I'm skeptical this will fix it since it's been an issue for a year now.

Before signing out of Proton it's also important to  back up all of your files locally on your computer or on a separate drive.

Signing back in on the same computer created a duplicate synced Proton Drive folder and I'm observing small inconsistencies compared to the original synced folder.

Proton support shared that this will improve in the future with an option to reconnect the app to the old instance.

In the meantime it'd be great to generate and share a PDF report of the differences in files|data when a new instance is created. With 74 GB of data stored with Proton it's very difficult to find all of the discrepancies.
