Great question. The locally roasted coffee beans I've been brewing in the Chicago suburbs area haven't been great so it'd be hard to notice a difference in flavor.
Once I'm back in the Washington DC area I'll pre grind my beans the night before to compare. It'd also be a fun blind taste test experiment to see if someone can tell.
