Does anyone actually have what they would consider a “normal dream”? I alway find it fascinating that people describe dreams as weird, because by their nature they are abstract, non linear and aren’t confined to the same conscious structure. They operate emotionally as opposed to logically, so a lot of the confusion when we return to a conscious state comes from trying to apply logic to those emotions fluidly expressing itself.
