As a parent, one analogy that’s proven true more than others is that you get used to microdosing experiences. A bit of a conversation with others at an outing. A bit of reading, a bit of a podcast, a bit of a scroll. Depending on the age of your child, you’re context switching between the responsibilities you have to them at any given moment and your own thing. As much as I try to draw boundaries around work and family, they can naturally blur. Using Hermes has been a game changer because I can delegate quite a bit within those slivers of time, and not have to sacrifice as much family time.
