Most people either don’t know how, or have the patience to adjust settings to strike a tolerable social media ratio. Like a bonsai tree, or more accurately an over grown garden with an invasive parasitic species, it has to be maintained constantly. However at some point it becomes more effort than it’s worth and you just cut your losses and move on.
