Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist who works with a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, performance art, and installations, most of which focus on psychedelia through repetition and patterns. Kusama is a pioneer of the pop art, minimalism, and feminist art movements and influenced her contemporaries Andy Warhol and Claes Oldenburg.
