On the 7th, the South Korean government responded to Russian officials' public remarks supporting North Korea's strengthening of self-defense in response to the South Korea-US joint exercises that have exacerbated local tensions, saying that if Russia wants peace, it should persuade North Korea to return to the dialogue table.
