Didn’t catch the games last night but saw a few highlights. Not many people talk about it but I love a good “comeback” story.
Victor Lindelöf, he was a giant in our Swedish defense during World Cup 2018 where we reached quarterfinals.
He didn’t have a good tenure at United, but who does? He was reliable and never made any noise.
I’m very happy seeing him doing so well at Villa now and seem like Emery is really seeing the potential of him once paired in the right system. And looks basically nailed in Villa.
Such an underrated player and intelligent on the ball.
