i respectfully urge the opposite and lean heavier on laisseiz faire - let things be. it’s a harsh cold world out there. no amount of hand holding and holding coins will save a project that is insufficiently interesting to majority of consumers, which is the real business. the weight is not on the users to artificially “support” builders out of warm fuzzy micro patriotism. the weight is entirely on the builders to create things that emit irrefutably compelling ways to get paid, get laid, get entertained. survival of the fittest is not a force that mere mortals can alter the course of. i have sent my share of “not interesting enough to survive” batch of products here on farcaster, x, and beyond. a venture is not a philanthropy organization. the least it needs to unlock is the power to compel enough people at scale to sustain enough momentum til it breaks out. no exception to this, and it is the law of nature itself. i respectfully send my kudos to makers who are closing their chapters. trust me, i’ve been there, and i swear it left painful stretch marks on my spirit. just know that it is not the end, but the beginning of the real you. and you still have plenty of time left to throw your verse and birth something that is beyond fit enough to thrive. i’m on the same boat as you, crushed by the despair and sorrow of seeing my creation sink to the abysmal void. but telling you. what you’ve learned will come back to help you unlock your calling when the time is right. keep going. failures are not as fatal as you think.
