if this doesn't alarm farcaster, idk what should. i think jake is actually doing the right thing-staying and thriving where audience lives. simple analogy. if a new taco shop opens, only one of two ways to survive and thrive: 1. existing attention are people already visiting the area near the taco shop? then even if they are just average, they have higher shot at thriving. 2. irreplaceable recipe is the recipe untastable elsewhere? if someone cooks up magical caterpillar and it tastes like heaven, people will still come all the way to the jungle to taste it. rn, 1. is a farshot for farcaster, but the focus is to test 2. as many times as the runway allows. even when the total dau was less than 1000 people, farcaster used to bustle with highly potent builders like @deployer and beyond. where did they all go? I miss the times when this place smelled so fucking good that you had no choice but to cook and play along. I too love farcaster. I still am a dau. but we need to see more wild shots.
