i’m such a mid trader that i feel guilty sharing, but i notice a lot of similarity to building an app/startup, except #3 what i look for in product-connected meme coins: 1. team & commitment: who is it by? are they doxx’d with public facing commitment with their reputation on the line? 2. novelty & sustainability: is it new enough to attract attention? and legit enough to sustain it? 3. ownership & risk: does few wallets hold too much? if so, who are they? and for what reason? what makes 3 lethal in some cases for coins, unlike incorporated startups, is liquidity. there are times i sell earlier even though 1 & 2 is strong because of #3. sometimes it is the team manipulating, and sometimes it is the snipers fucking with it, but either way, it requires a lot of ongoing attention to it that i do not feel comfortable holding long term.
