Yesterday, “La canción del espacio” was released on YouTube, a track I created for the Songcamp Challenge Latam, which invited artists to explore Latin American identity from a personal perspective. For me, this was a real challenge, since my music is not what usually comes to mind when thinking about Latin America. That contrast motivated me to fully commit for a week. With that idea in mind, I researched Latin American artists who explored themes close to my own work, such as time, space, and the stars. During this search, I discovered a poem by early 20th-century Nicaraguan writer Alfonso Cortés. Using an AI-based text-to-speech engine, I generated and edited versions of the poem recited by a female voice, aiming for a natural delivery. I layered the voice over the music I developed during the week in an organic way. The project was enriched by the participation of other artists and by being presented at DevConnect 2025.
