i just thought of a simple solution to a difficult problem. my app is about connecting other apps you get feeds from so you can track it all in one place. it's not meant to be another client for each of those apps, so in one sense it is like RSS for apps. the problem is new users start on an empty feed and need to go add things, and as such, they don't experience the richness of the app. Also depending on what they go add at first, they have different experiences. I would say my app is most rich on wallets and developer tools than social. So, what to do? create a demo mode for onboarding that shows the app and its agent fully populated. I dunno why i didn't think of this before, but getting feedback from @jpfraneto triggered this for me.
