The sun is just about to sink, like a giant golden coin slowly melting into the chest of the sea. A few scattered clouds in the sky have been gently painted in soft shades of red and orange. Through the gaps in the railing, that light falls onto the cup. It looks as if a tiny sun is sparkling in the foam of the coffee.
One sip, and the warm liquid slides down my throat, filling the inside of me with peace. Outside, the waves keep kissing the shore, slowly, softly. There’s no hurry, no worry. Just this moment.
Sometimes the most beautiful moments in life are exactly like this:
a cup of coffee, a sunset, and a little time spent truly being with yourself.
So I say, whenever you feel low or life seems far too complicated,
take a cup of coffee and come sit by the sea.
Let the sun go down. Just watch.
Everything will feel right again.
