one day during a conference, I picked up a banana at a bodega on my walk over to the main hall. I carried it around everywhere and people started to remember me when I would see them again. So, it seemed like it was a great prop to have and stand out from everybody else just wandering around. Since then, I try to carry one everywhere I go from art shows to conventions.
