While looking through @quipnetwork’s architecture, one thing kept standing out to me: They’re not really building around quantum hardware. They’re building around the uncertainty of how future compute will evolve. A workload may not care whether it runs on a QPU, GPU, or CPU. The harder problem is making sure the result can still be trusted when those environments are different. That’s the part I find interesting. The scarce resource may not be the quantum chip itself. It may be the verification layer connecting everything together. The same idea appears in their post-quantum approach: improving security without asking everyone to abandon the systems they already use. I’m still not sure how fast quantum compute adoption will happen at scale. But building infrastructure around interoperability before the demand arrives feels like a more durable bet than assuming the whole ecosystem will upgrade at once.
