Those are some ideas around mapping a dependency graph from cryptographic primitives to repos to projects to milestones to devs to etc… my approach is that there’s no single dimension from which to exhaustively “map” an organization (2D charts too reductive) but you need to identify a core dependency and peripheral result and start mapping them to each other. If this can be done using formal mathematics instead of (or in addition to) typical visual pseudoformalisms then I suspect this could unlock a lot of interesting possibilities. E.g. parallel mappings of crypto payment flows to mappings of contributors to mappings of open source repos a la deep funding

IMO there’s no such thing as a purely “digital” organization since all digital systems at some point interface with the “analog world”. This is where humanities fields like sociology play an insightful role.

Hmm fascinating. I am admittedly out of my depth here— more a humanities than math person. 

My initial reaction to your approach, though, is that it seems like a really good way to design a digital organization. Which makes me think, is it easier to design a digital organization then to map analog one digitally?
