FC Barcelonaâs Instagram account was hacked to promote a fake token $FCB (Pump.fun). The token spiked to ~$3M market cap, then crashed by ~99%, leaving fans holding air.
PancakeSwapâs Chinese-language X account was compromised to promote a âmeme coinâ called Sir Pancake. The attacker got volume, pumped, then left.
Scammers are now eyeing AI / deepfake tools: expect fake voice bots or cloned faces doing support calls soon.
