Lesson 3 (Part 3): When the minority backfires There was a BTC prediction asking whether price would be above or below a certain level (Yes or No). I knew the market was trending downward, so I waited and placed my position on the minority side (“No”), which had the higher payout, while the majority was still on “Yes.” About a minute before the end, BTC was clearly below the target price — but 30 seconds before time ran out, someone placed a large order that briefly pushed the price back to the majority side. That short move flipped the outcome, and I lost.
Good morning fams Lesson 3 (Part 2): Crowd vs minority Most of the time, I follow the majority when placing predictions, but I do it wisely. This approach has flaws, but it’s usually safer than chasing minority positions with huge payouts and low probability.
Happy Sunday, Base fam ☀️ As time passes, we’re getting closer to the end of this chapter. It’s been a fun and worthwhile experience — I started posting on Base, enjoyed the rewards, saw so much creativity here, and genuinely loved being part of it. But like everything, change is inevitable. I truly believe this next phase holds even greater opportunities and more growth than when we first started, and I want to be part of it. Please @baseapp.base.eth and @jesse.base.eth, don’t forget me in the final reward — I need it to position myself properly for the new era of Base.
Usually I’m busy on weekends and went quiet because of a few things, plus I was testing out some apps on Base. One that really caught my attention is Predict Base — high risk, high reward, definitely exciting. I’m back full-time now and ready to have more fun with you guys.
