To care for succulents in summer, ensure they get plenty of indirect sunlight—about 6 hours a day is ideal. Avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves. Water deeply but infrequently; let the soil dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. Use well-draining soil and pots with drainage holes. Avoid misting; succulents prefer dry air. During extreme heat, move them to a shaded spot or indoors with good airflow. Fertilize once or twice during the growing season using diluted succulent fertilizer. Keep an eye out for pests like mealybugs. With proper light, airflow, and watering habits, your succulents will thrive even in hot weather.
