Not sure I’m qualified 😂 but I’ll give it a go That swing is super simple and compact (“tight”) - there’s not really any wasted movement. The club’s path is inside out which leads to a right to left ball flight (a “draw”). Look closely and the ball starts and hits the screen to the right of where he’s aiming. It’ll curve left (again, “draw”) back to his target. Great swing, desirable shot shape.

I typed it out manually (h/t @goose and some others who I saw share rounds this way. I think it’s a fun thing for the channel). But speaking of, I have been meaning to toy around with a mini app for casting golf rounds. Coming soon…

Sick! Also in all seriousness, probably the single best and most underutilized golf advice. Saw some video a month back of someone working on shallowing their swing. And someone was like “Scottie scheffler doesn’t shallow the club. You don’t need to shallow the club.” Swing your swing!

Playing in my state's mid-am qualifier tomorrow. On current form feels like my chances are about the same as a LIV players chances to win the fedex cup. But i guess maybe crazier things have happened. wish me a low score 😅 🙏 📉

90 Lower slope, shorter course, first day back expectations are lower and you’re more reactive, IME that leads to better play 😃 Good luck and have fun out there!!

Feels unfortunate that Harbour Town is buried the week after the Masters. Fun, unique course, signature event with (most) of the top guys, all in all a great event. But you’re in a Masters hangover and obviously nothing compares. So we spend a great, great tournament still catching our breath from the week prior

My gut reaction is no. There are very likely more gains to be had by practicing and building comfort with a regular driver first. Once you’re there (or if you already are), use your regular driver everywhere. From what I can tell, mini drivers are in vogue because pros use them *on specific courses* where narrowness / length dictate its a good decision relative to driver or 3w. But as a general rule it’s not replacing their driver and it’s not in the bag all the time. (I’m sure there are exceptions.) Ultimately you know your game best and my opinion is worth little more than a grain of salt 😃

For me, that was the most compelling Masters I’ve ever watched. Better than 2019. Very happy for Rory
