Passkeys are a great step forward—but they raise an important question:
Are we really comfortable handing over our private keys, on a technical level, to Google or Apple? Do we want them to become the gatekeepers of our so-called decentralized money?
And what happens if you lose your phone and don’t have a second device running the same OS? You’re back to relying on a piece of paper with your Google or Apple login written on it…
