Azim Premji was walking deep in a forest when a rock on which he rested slipped and he fell into a hidden ditch, injured and unable to get out.
His dog ran several kilometres back, tugged the driver’s trouser with urgency, and refused to move until he followed. The dog led him, and later the villagers, back to the exact place where Premji lay injured.
In a world full of fragile relationships, a dog’s devotion is still absolute.
