One of the saddest and most terrifying moments in life is losing someone you love. Last night, we were all at home chatting when my aunt stood up to check her phone in the room where her daughter was. Moments later, we heard her daughter cry out, “I don’t know what’s wrong with mummy!” We rushed in and hurried her to the hospital. My brother drove while my mum and I held her tight in the back seat. Deep down, I knew she was gone, but I still prayed for her heart to beat again. When we arrived, the doctor said the words I feared most, “She’s gone.” Subhanallah… we lost her last night. 💔
