In response to the Salt Typhoon breach of the US mobile infrastructure, @3num is developing the Bourbon Protocol: a permissionless, multipolar communications protocol for “sipping” that breaks free from legacy SMS/voice. It uses your Farcaster decentralized account (FID) to power end-end encrypted voice, video and messaging.
