zama's work on AI x FHE is wild.. imagine training models on encrypted data without leaks
their TFHE library lets devs run neural net operations on ciphertexts, so sensitive datasets stay private during training or inference
for example, matrix multiplications on healthcare and finance
imagine an AI diagnosing diseases or predicting markets without ever seeing raw user data
it’s post quantum secure too, thanks to lattice crypto.
however, regarding the compute cost.. FHE’s heavy, and testnet is at 20 TPS, though GPU boosts aims for improvements
community’s buzzing on X.. some called it “the future of private AI.”
@zama is a very big deal and their building a game changer.. but I'm skeptical until we see real world models scale
