Israeli (Jewish) people and Iranians have been super close friends throughout their thousands of years of history!
The peak of this closeness and its golden era goes back to Cyrus the Great, when in 539 BCE, after conquering Babylon, Cyrus the Great freed the Jews from Babylonian captivity and allowed them to return to their land, i.e., Jerusalem, and rebuild the Second Temple.
The Jews praised Cyrus the Great as a liberator, and he’s even mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (Torah).
