I mistimed the end of the last bull cycle, and as a result, my portfolio took a hit. I was heavily invested in Terra, Solana and Avalanche back then. This time, I predicted that the bull cycle would end sometime in Q1, but an unexpected turn of events prompted me to convert a large portion of my holdings into stablecoin yield protocols and join a few sales accepting USDT and USDC, just two days before the $19B liquidation crash.

That decision shielded me from the downturn, leaving only small exposures in ETH, SOL, SUI, APT, and SUPRA. I even managed to accumulate a bit more while others remained locked in yield protocols, waiting for potential drops. Whether this marks the end of the bull cycle, which I personally believe it is not, since not all indicators have turned red, or merely a correction, I am prepared.

I am positioned to buy more in anticipation of what may be the last great bull cycle between 2029 and 2031. Looking at historical charts and my long-term view is that the mid-2030s could usher in another market-wide recession. Time will tell.
