○ Most people like to think their data is safe.
An offshoot of the tech age or we're just willingly ignoring the obvious?
Maybe, our senses have been dulled by a false sense of safety.
The truth is, data, even with all multiple encryption layers, is not as safe as we think it is.
○ What's data?
Raw facts, details, your name, house address, next of kin etc.
You sign up for a new social app, put in your details...and you think that's it?
What if I told you anyone with back-end access could access your data?
◇ Scratch that!
Anyone with a little bit of technical knowledge and expertise could do that.
In Web 3, where almost everything is onchain, it's even worse.
Web 3 gave us openness and financial freedom.
But, it made privacy scarcer, a luxury few can afford.
@zama is introducing a new form of privacy for data in use.
