for many of you in the west and the north, i'm sure it sounds a bit odd to you when i bring up DePINs like @dabbanetwork and how they’re “improving network connectivity” - and rightly so, seeing as most of you in the aforementioned regions have solid network coverage. sadly, this is not the case everywhere. in regions like africa or india, network connectivity can be pretty bad, with only a small portion of people - usually the elite - having access to stable connections (even they aren't exempt sometimes). a big reason for this is corruption, but that aside, another reason is that many of the telcos just don’t have the capital to properly maintain and expand their networks to meet the growing demand of the public. this is where DePINs come in; they make it faster and easier to get the capital and infrastructure needed to scale the network - whilst still cutting out a lot of the censorship and inefficiency that comes with traditional systems. the ecosystem as a whole might not look like much right now, b
