Not sure if you folks on Farcaster know this, but a few days ago, Plasma – an L1 for stablecoin payments – awarded participants in their public sale an airdrop that was worth $10K at some point (and even more now, seeing as the token's pumped after the TGE). The worth of the airdrop isn't what actually shocked people the most. What shocked people the most was how even those who deposited as little as $15 got the same allocation (if you deposited as little as $5, you got the $10k airdrop). There's also the fact that, those who participated in the separate round on the Echo platform saw a 330x return on whatever they put in. Here’s the thing: a lot of people knew about the deposit that would make you eligible for the XPL token sale – several tried to get in when they allowed deposits but couldn’t.
