Three Types of access:
Permanent allowance:
You can grant long-term access to a specific address.
Transient allowance:
valid only for the current transaction, Stored in temporary storage to save gas costs while keeping security intact.
Permanent public allowance:
publicly accessible under the smart contract logic. (winning bid, results, outputs).
In simple terms, ACL ensures that your data is always safe, controlled and accessible only to the right people, even when it is being used in smart contracts or apps. It’s what allows Zama’s encrypted ecosystem to remain transparent enough for public verification, yet private enough to protect sensitive data from just anyone.
