Simple guy who paid 3 times to get a Farcaster account. I occasionally write.

Explored what's going on:
Farcaster rewards are different from Base rewards.
Different apps — different earnings.
It is tough to pick your favorite child here.
But there's a way I suppose.
I borrowed this from my dad.
When you can't decide? Find a different solution.
And with that thought, he logged into X, went to buy milk, and never returned.

Just tried my first miniapp on the Base app.
Megapot.
In two words: LOVE IT.
Instantly deposited a dollar to potentially earn 1.1 million dollars (enough to fund my next lunch I guess).
More importantly, few things stood out:
> Clean and simple app
> No friction - instant wallet connect
> Didn’t have to pay fees (thank you Coinbase)
> Earn free points in return
> Can do several micropayments
> Winning odds are 184x better
> Actually fairness (100% of our money goes into the community pool)
Last week, I delayed when I saw this "global jackpot" for crypto.
But now I see the plan.
@pl.farcaster.eth is truly building a simple and fun global jackpot.
Dope. 🔥

Wait.
Is this real?
Do we earn for posting on Warpcast? I was a journalist earlier. If this is the case? I would love to write more often.
Pretty dope. @v @dwr
PS: Twitter just suspended my second account for no reason.

Chris Rock once said: “I love being famous… it is almost like being white.”
As silly and funny as it sounds, I had my little Chris Rock moment this week on Farcaster with:
— 30,000+ views
— 600+ likes
— 100+ recasts…
You guys are PURE mental.
I simply asked a question and then @dwr recasted it. Next morning I woke up watching so many notifications almost feeling like Chris Rock on stage — minus the talent and million of dollars in my bank.
Then I looked in the mirror and slapped myself back to reality — not as hard as Will Smith slapped Chris Rock though.
That slap still echoes through space-time.
Anyway, to everyone who liked, commented, and recasted? THANK YOU. In many ways, you have activated a part of my brain, unlocked the curiosity department, and left me thinking that behind EVERY notification is a REAL person spreading kindness. Love that!
Following EVERYONE and more power to all of us! ✌️ #epic2025

Been deeply researching Farcaster since last week. Found something disturbing:
For sure, Facebook has Mark Zuckerberg. But Farcaster?
Farcaster has Sam Berg. (@samuellhuber.eth)

I HATE re-logging into Farcaster but when I do?
I do two things:
1) I check my feed
2) I check @samuellhuber.eth's profile
My feed is a chaotic mix — with degens shilling links, memes, and Farcaster updates from @v and @dwr.
Then I go through @samuellhuber.eth. This guy is a machine — always sharing, cooking something new, and making incredible moves.
I have been watching him for the last couple of weeks. In fact, last week he released this: https://dtech.vision/farcaster/start/
What an exhaustive guide for anyone who wants to build on Farcaster.
But this is what gets me:
Samuel runs a development studio specializing in Farcaster frames and yet shares this guide for free — empowering everyone to build their own frames — is actually pretty dope.
Samuel isn't just building for himself. He is also enabling everyone to build better.
This is growth mindset — something I wish to adopt in 2025. #thoughts #lessons
