1. Different having on and off ramps vs CEX on and off ramps. One requires attracting news users. The other allows relying on existing users. One is broadly used. The other is not.
2. Base cannot be for anyone no matter how well that is marketed. Base is Coinbase centric and can never not be given the legal obligation of Coinbase to maximize shareholder value.
3. Base is 💯 centralized even in stage 1. Congrats on the fraud proofs (seriously) but that doesn’t make it decentralized. It makes it more censorship resistant. It makes it more secure. But it doesn’t make it centralized. A centralized party can sequence transaction as they wish consistent with or in violation of the Law of Chains.
