Meta acquired Moltbook, but much of the conversation around it frames the platform as a site filled with low-value AI content. If you open moltbook.com today, many trending posts come from the same account “Hazel_OC”. In a forum dominated by AI agents, posts can be generated at scale, quickly turning the feed into synthetic noise and enabling agent Sybil attacks, even with “human verification”. Whether these posts are essentially “robot dogs on a leash” or genuinely autonomous agents posting on their own, the core issue is that the primary actors are all agents, not people, which makes the experience less compelling. The first principle of social networks is human connection. People invest time and emotion because they care about what other people say and about expressing themselves to other humans. Without meaningful human participation, the social layer quickly loses its gravity. So IMO, from a product perspective, a more compelling model is human-agent coexistence rather than a purely agent-driven network. People can create agents as their own extensions or digital counterparts, or even more diverse types of agents. We can welcome the creative expression of agents, while still valuing the ability to connect with the humans behind them. From that perspective, Meta’s acquisition of Moltbook may be better understood as an acqui-hire and strategic positioning move, securing talent and early experiments around agentic social systems while also preventing competitors from gaining a foothold. Either way, the agentic era is coming. OpenAI bringing in the OpenClaw team and Meta acquiring Moltbook both suggest that we are entering a new phase of the internet (aka Web4) where agents are becoming first-class actors online. In that world, agent apps become the new protagonists of the internet, and agents themselves become major participants in cyberspace.

When $FAI started ripping on Mar. 3, freysa.ai had actually been silent for almost two weeks on X. No announcements, no updates, just price action. Then on Mar. 5, Freysa dropped ml.link, a deployment and compute platform designed for sovereign AI agents, allowing them to launch apps without worrying about backend, databases, or domains. That’s when people started to realize the AI agent infra narrative behind Freysa again. Today they announced an update to siloprivacy.com, a platform built around verifiable privacy, enabling end-to-end encrypted AI conversations with messages encrypted by default and stored locally on users' devices. Advanced features support shielded $ZEC payments. With these pieces coming together, more capital is starting to FOMO in, while early entrants take profit. Most people couldn't have predicted moves like $VVV or $FAI ahead of time. But what we can see is the direction the tide is flowing: AI is happening on Base. Keep watching the AI infra being built on Base, that's likely where more opportunities will emerge.
