Since Base app has undergone its global debut, I’ll take a moment to reflect on being here since the actual Day One of @base.base.eth public launch.
Those first moments were thrilling: new work minting, spending feverishly to get pieces of early blockspace history. Soon after, I found myself exploring the capabilities of a self-custodial wallet.
Since collecting thousands of NFTs, I wanted to explore what the DeFi world and memecoin trenches were. Understanding the complexities and avoiding those painful max extractions wouldn’t have been possible without a solid community to engage with…and for me…that community was @basedfellas. There are many incredible groups who organize thru a shared interest. Personally, I haven’t found more collaboration and fun in web3.
Exploring irl conferences was tied to bonds shared with my digital art family. I’m excited for this next chapter of Base. And I look forward to all the new people finding their way in this global onchain economy.
