the base app social feed doesn’t hold much value to me currently. lots of content from people I don’t follow and would never follow. an interesting thing is that for an app that wants to be the Amazon of Assets none of the random content I’m served up is financial at all; people talking about tokens or the market or anything like that, nothing from the trenches or any kind of macro insight from Smart Posters. if I was in change of growth over there I’d be trying to onboard people who are good at that kind of content and not lifestyle posters. when I’m in a trading app I wanna see some trading stuff and imagine most other people will feel the same. lifestyle posts can come later or mixed in some like think or swim

this… Think the algo definitely needs a bit of adjustment there. The lack of a chronological if they want us degening on content coins or whatever also feels quite strange. I still get a decent amount of stuff from folks I follow, yet it’s often the greatest hits mixed in with new random and an occasional promoted post a la

yes it's so fucked over there. I cannot scroll a feed that isn't my following feed. that may just be because I was lucky enough to be here for so long and have already built a great following list. if youre just getting started youre getting served up with posts that make you question if youre even reading things from real people. terrible for onboarding
